“Tecnogen of Italy supply an outstanding range of premium generator options to the New Zealand market. To our knowledge, Tecnogen manufactures the quietest units available worldwide. The patented FUSTEQ technology using VSD controlled fans offers acoustic options not available elsewhere. As an example the model CU1400FQ running at 100% load (PRP) 1000kw at 7 m LA,eq [dB] is 67.8 dBA housed in a 20′. container. Fuel savings of up to 14% are achievable using this product. As an example the above model over 1000 hours continuous running would save 9843 litres of diesel over a conventional mechanical radiator fan package.

Advanced Technology: These highly advanced sets are deployed around the world for critical infrastructure and sensitive locations such as data centres near residential areas, film locations, hospitals, network companies, councils and rental fleets that require a generator to meet stringent noise and emissions regulations whilst avoiding the need to build an expensive generator room or set up sound attenuation.

Engineered to perform: With their separate compartments for engine, alternator, exhaust gas silencer and radiator they are also suited to dusty or damp applications such as mining and quarrying as the minimal airflow through the canopy means minimal dust or damp causing deterioration of engines and electrics.

Control options for every application: Control panel options are generally ComAp with the AMF 25 the standard scope. For mains synchronising or multiple generator paralleling the ComAp IG 500 G2 option is offered. The ComAp IG1000 is available for the most advanced critical infrastructure control requirement that demand multiple sets with and without grid synchronization, and more.

Please enquire with your QPower expert to help select and commission the right controller and accessories for your application.”
